SHOE ADDICT:

FANCY PLATFORM HEELS

Hand me a pair of platform heels and I’ll run the world in them.

From stilettos to now my love for fancy platform heels has its own story to narrate.

Who would have known that the 70s style of heels would come back with a good vengeance?

For years, I would live in pointy toe 4 inch stilettos and be just fine. But I guess  times have changed. I would call it kinda running out of options…or may be not!

See as a self proclaimed Stylist and Fashionista, I love having options and varieties to pick and choose from. Definitely flats are never an option for me. I’ve tried flats but always ended up with sore feet. And to be honest, I’d rather sneakers instead. Back to today’s topic that really got me to writing this blog, my love for platforms has grown immensely in the past few years. These do include wedges as well. With that said, I don’t just go for every design I see out there, they have to be really special.

The style and craftsmanship are the selling point for me. Then the color and material are secondary.

Platform heels are the most comfortable feet friendly heels one can ever own. These are made to be your feet's best friend. if you ever suffered a fracture or sprain you’ll end up in a walking cast. And I think the same concept to protect your feet has been put into designing a wedge heel and the same comfort is applied to platforms. My number one most fancy heels are the Versace’s. They come in a whole lot array of colors.

Think of the colors of the rainbow and then some decadent. From pointy toe platforms, boxy toe, open toe etc.

Since I have pointy narrow high arched feet, I find the pointy toe more comfy while the other boxy toe in the scale of 1 to 10, I'd definitely give them 7 especially if you have pointy toes like mine. They would run smaller for wider feet so sizing up is recommended. For the Versace pairs they do run up to a 41. I was so surprised when I ordered the 41 just to realize they fit me perfectly. I’d normally wear 42 for closed toe heels and 41 for open toes but not with this particular brand.

Overall, platform heels are not going anywhere, especially for me. A lot of women to there are now going for comfort and so I’m I.

You can pretty much find any other brand that’s pocket friendly especially on Amazon or wait for a good end of Season SALE like I do most of the time.
